Од 21 до 29 мај 2023 г. во Македонија престојуваше Дан Шехтман (Dan Shechtman), добитник на Нобелова награда по хемија (2011 година) за откритието на квазикристалите. Ова е прва посета на нобеловец од областа на природните науки во нашата земја.
